Yesterday we enjoyed a much needed Family Day. Daniel finally had a day off, the first for him in over three weeks. We took the kids to breakfast and then went to get pumpkins. We carved the pumpkins and then attempted to get them to take a nap so that they would not be tired for trick or treating. Our plan failed but they were not as cranky as we anticipated them to be. Alison went to Bryn and Ainslea MacDonald's house for a girls sleep over and we took DJ and headed to the Mcneel's house where we had chili and apple cake (yummy!!! ) and went trick or treating with Ryan, Shane, David, Jackson and Kayla. Daniel kind of pooped out after about a hour of walking and wanted to go home. Here are some pictures of our day. Notice the last one is when DJ finally gave up and went to sleep for the night. All in all we had a great day with great weather. Now we will just wait for Daniel's next day off !!!

When I went to bed this is what I found. DJ got in our bed and crashed out with his Daddy!! I guess he truly is a JR. They even sleep the same way.
